Fibromyalgia conference at the Lodge Hotel in Coleraine
FIBROMYALGIA Support Northern Ireland are pleased to announce their first conference in this area.
It will be held in the Lodge Hotel in Coleraine on Saturday, July 4 from 10.30am - 4pm.
Dr Patrick Wood MD from Shreveport USA is a respected authority on the case and treatment of Fibromyalgia Syndrome.
He has presented his work around the world at scientific conferences and featured on the DVD "Fibromyalgia Show Me Where it Hurts".
Dr Kim Lawson of the Biomedical Research Centre at Sheffield Hallam University will also speak at the conference. Dr Lawson has special interest for the development of drugs for the treatment of Fibromyalgia.
Also in the list will be Dr Chris Idzikowi, former chairman of the British Sleep Society. His professional background of clinical pharmacology and psychology provides him with a unique insight into sleep and its disorders.
Other speakers on the day will include Mrs Alan Little john from London who will talk about her life as a Fibromyalgia sufferer and Mr Ron McDowell from Aware Defeat Depression.
