Focus on Family £85k grant boost
A cross community partnership involving a Coleraine group has secured over £85,000 funding from the International Fund for Ireland.
Focus on Family, Coleraine and Creevagh Women's Group, Londonderry will receive a grant 85,620.
They groups partnered under the Fund's Integrating Community Organisations Programme, which facilitates and supports significant partnerships between community organisations representing Unionist and Nationalist traditions with the ultimate aim of encouraging meaningful, lasting partnerships as a means of encouraging dialogue between communities and promoting reconciliation.
Following its recent Board meeting in County Armagh, the International Fund for Ireland has announced 5.9m (€7m) to support a wide range of reconciliation and peace building projects.
