Garvagh fire being treated as suspicious

A number of residents were forced to leave their homes at the weekend because of a fire at a farm in Garvagh

Emergency services were called to the blaze on the Carrowreagh Road in Garvagh at about 5am on Saturday morning.

Police have said the fire is being treated as suspicious.

John Allen from the NI Fire and Rescue Service said the blaze at the shed was complicated as the premises contained fertilizer, gas cylinders and diesel.
