Howell to be questioned for three days

Detectives investigating Coleraine dentist Colin Howell have been given permission to question him for three days about other alleged offences.

The application was made by a Detective Inspector in Antrim court on Tuesday morning.

The court heard that detectives want to speak to Howell about matters he is not currently in custody over.

Mr Howell, 50, is charged with the murder of his wife and his ex-lover's husband, RUC officer Trevor Buchanan.
