Man bailed on fuel fraud and drugs supply inquiry

A 27-year-old man arrested by detectives from Organised Crime Branch in Portstewart last Thursday as part of an investigation into fuel fraud and drugs supply has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

The man was questioned at Coleraine police station.

As part of the operation a house was searched and a number of items have been removed for examination.

Premises in Crossmaglen and Camlough were also searched and further items removed for examination.

Detectives from Organised Crime Branch, who were assisted by colleagues in E District and Tactical Support Group personnel, are continuing their enquiries into drugs supply, money laundering and fuel fraud.
