Man dies in Coleraine road collision

Police can confirm that a man, believed to be in his 60’s, has died following a two vehicle road traffic collision at the Ballyrashane Road, Coleraine area on Thursday morning.

The man was the driver of one of the vehicles. A man and two children travelling in the other vehicle were also injuried. Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The Ballyrashane road has been reopened to traffic.

Police are appealing to anyone who was travelling on the Ballyrashane Road on Thursday between 8.45am and 9am and who witnessed the collsion to contact them at Coleraine on 0845 600 8000.
