Marathon task for big hearted Harry
Local man Harry McCloy just keeps on running - and it's all for a good cause.
Harry will continue his fundraising efforts on behalf of the Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children with four outings beginning with the Larne Half Marathon - 13.1miles - this Saturday.
He will also line up for the Connemara Ultra Marathon (39.3miles) on April 11, the Belfast Marathon on May 3 and the Dublin Marathon on October 25.
Long distances hold no fear for Harry who ran the Comrades Marathon - some 56 miles - in Durban, South Africa last year, raising 2,568.75 for the NlCFC.
Assisting Harry with his fund raising are family, friends and colleagues, some of who are running in Larne, Connemara or Belfast Marathon.
At present Harry has also two relay reams running in the Belfast Marathon and hopes others will take up the challenge in participating in any of these events to aid the NICFC.
