Portstewart assault

POLICE are appealing for information following an alleged assault at licensed premises on the Promenade, Portstewart on Saturday, January 28.

It was reported that a male was assaulted inside the premises by another male at around midnight. The man is believed to have suffered facial injuries and injuries to his ear.

He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment to his injuries. Enquiries are continuing.

If anyone has information relating to the incident, they are asked to contact police in Coleraine on 0845 600 8000 or Crimestoppers 0800 555 111 and speak anonymously.
