Suspicious house fire Portstewart

POLICE are appealing for information following a suspicious fire at Cranfield Court, Portstewart on Saturday.

Four fire appliances from the Triangle area attended the blaze at 1pm with around 30 firefighters tackling the serious blaze, some with breathing apparatus.

No one was injured as a result of the fire but substantial damage was caused to a communal area.

Any member of the public who feels they can assist the police, who noticed any unusual activity in the area or who has any information to contact detectives at Coleraine Police Station on 0845 600 8000 or Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
