The world comes to Armstrong Medical

ARMSTRONG Medical recently welcomed distributors from around the world to its Coleraine plant.

Twenty-four distributors from 12 countries - Sweden, Finland, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Ukraine, Israel, Australia, Malaysia, Venezuela, Mexico and the USA - visited for a three day intensive Anaesthesia and Critical Care Product Training Seminar.

Nigel Armstrong, Export Sales Director from Armstrong Medical Ltd explained: “The Export Training Seminar is part of our global and export growth strategy.

“It is important that our distributors come and see our manufacturing facility in Northern Ireland. This is a very exciting opportunity for sales that will ultimately lead to jobs in Northern Ireland. We would like to thank Invest NI for their support throughout this training.”

The product training seminars coincided with the visit of Health Minister, Edwin Poots visit.

Speaking during the visit, the Minister said: “Armstrong Medical is an innovative and forward-thinking company which has expanded and excelled in supplying medical goods across the globe. It is this type of progressive thinking that I want to encourage in the entire health sector. We cannot stand still; we must find new and better ways to deliver care.”

Richard van Goor, Managing Director of MC Europe based in Netherlands said: “It is fantastic to see the energy from the Armstrong Medical team and their worldwide distributors together.

“I have been working alongside Armstrong Medical Ltd for 15 years within different companies. A doctor in the Netherlands who is a customer of Armstrong Medical Ltd once explained to me, that the reason he liked Armstrong Medical’s products was because everything to do with them, is done to the highest quality. May it be the products, packaging, support documents, etc.

“It was great to be part of the Health Minister’s visit to Armstrong Medical. It showed his commitment to the company and their growth within Northern Ireland and the worldwide marketplace.”

Alexander Cherkashyn, Sales Manager from Ksenko based in the Ukraine said:

“Visiting Armstrong Medical and Northern Ireland will be of great benefit when selling Armstrong Medical’s products into Critical Care and ICU departments in the Ukraine.”
