McAfee Auctions have a major two night sale next week in their Ballymoney sale rooms where approximately 1200 lots, the contents of several estate clearances come under the hammer on Wednesday, April 13th and Thursday 14th.

The sale includes a real mix of antique and general furniture, including table and chair sets, sideboards, display cabinets, suites, occasional tables, chairs, bedroom furniture, lots of clocks including longcase, wall clocks, mantle clocks, clocks sets, lots of oil paintings, watercolours and prints, all types of collectibles including Beswick, masonsware, Waterford and other crystal, doulton figurines, Staffordshire, tea and dinner sets, linen, silver, silver plate, oil lamps, brass etc. The sale also includes a large collection of mainly new tools, hand lamps, brass scales and weights, blow torches, sprayers etc. etc.

Among the furniture is a superb set of 8 mahogany bar back dining room chairs, including two carvers, a choice of mahogany sideboards, mahogany dining room table, slimline mahogany chest, table and chair sets, two drawing room suites, occasional tables, upholstered armchairs, hall chairs and occasional chairs.

A real variety of clocks from two clearances are included in the sale as well as a traditional painted dial longcase clock there is a triple weight modern longcase, an unusual standing vienna and other vienna clocks, drop dial fusee and other mirror backed and drop dial clocks, three piece clock sets, figurine mantle clocks, and lots of other mahogany, brass and porcelain cased wall clocks.

A larger number of smaller collectibles than normal are included in this two night sale and include a collection of belleek figurines, doulton figurines, and many pieces of solid silver.

For the ladies there is a good and varied selection of gold and silver jewellery and a selection of 18ct and 9ct gold rings. A 1997 900s soft top convertible case will also be offered for sale.

Catalogues will be online and viewing commences next Monday and Tuesday 11th and 12th April from 3.00 – 5.00pm and 7pm – 8.30pm and on each day of sale from 3.30pm. Further details from auctioneers on 028 276 67669
