Age Concern Causeway’s Men’s group met earlier this month for a bit of banter and a game of tennis on the Wii.

Members had great fun competing and ‘winding each other up’ on the day.

Age Concern Causeway want to encounrage other men in the area to come along and join the craic.

The men meet at Coleraine West Community Centre on the Rope Walk once per month and also enjoy monthly outing.

The group will be meeting for a game of ten pin bowling (£2 per person) on Tuesday, February 17 at 2pm at the Jet Centre, Coleraine .

After that they will come together on Thursday, March 12 at 10am for a fun game of table tennis and to have a brew and a good laugh at Coleraine West.

The men’s group have been meeting for the past year and are keen to have more members on board.

If you are interested please contact Steve at Age Concern Causeway on 02870357966.

The group is free (except for outings where members pay their own way) and is open to men aged 55+.

Steve McCrudden, Men’s Group Facilitator said: “The group is great banter, it has provided an opportunity for men in the local area to come together, have tea/coffee and a chat.

“The strength of the group is largely down to the members deciding on the activities, speakers and outings.”
