THIS year’s North West 200 features a feast of great entertainment for everyone visiting the hospitality suite at the paddocks, according to one of the organisers.

Brian Moore, who has a wealth of experience in the Northern Ireland entertainment scene, has been tasked with putting together no less than six nights of top line bands.

“What we want to get across this year is that the entertainment is for everyone - you don’t have to be in some way connected to the North West 200 or one of the teams or riders. This is a venue for everyone and will enhance the whole North West 200 week,” enthused Brian.

As announced last week, new sponsor NI LiveWire have come on board this year to sponsor the Superstock Race and supply all the sound and visual effects for the six nights entertainment from May 14-19.

The line-up so far includes: Monday - Brown Sugar; Tuesday - Miss North West 200 followed by Brian Giffen and the Untouchables; Wednesday - A Question of Sport presented by Adrian Logan followed by Niamh Kavanagh and the Illegals; Thursday - NW200 official benefit night in aid of Action Medical Research starring Otis and the Elevators: Friday - Ronnie Greer Band with special guest Anthony Toner; Saturday - The Wrap Party with dance band RIO.
