COLERAINE Sure Start Partnership is delighted to launch their annual Pregnancy and Baby Fair.
The fair was launched at a recent baby massage class, delivered by Sure Start’s Health Visitor, Bernie Carlin.
The Pregnancy and Baby Fair will take place on Thursday, March 14 from 5.00pm to 8.00pm in the Lodge Hotel, Coleraine and is open to the whole community – whether they live in a Sure Start area or not.
There will be a vast array of stalls and stands promoting the work of organisations that support families during the baby and early years’ stages as well as local retailers displaying their wares.
Bernie Carlin said: “The Pregnancy and Baby Fair is open to anyone in the area who is pregnant or has had a baby in the last few months, even up to one year old! Come along and bring your partner, friends or mother. There will be loads going on!
“Information stands will give you guidance on all sorts of issues – childcare; keep fit for yourself; breastfeeding groups; home safety; family support and so much more!
“There will also be a wide range of local retailers, to help you make decisions about buying the right car seat and little gifts for mums and baby. This will include some unusual giftware by local retailers – there will be something for everyone.
“We even have a couple of pampering stalls and lots of reps from the wider Sure Start Partnership to tell you all about what we offer in the community.”
The Baby Fair is free to attend and everyone has the chance to take part in a free prize draw.
