Over the limit Portrush driver banned and fined
A Portrush man has been banned from the road for a year and fined £200 for driving with excess alcohol.
Gordon Wilton (40), of Glen Crescent, had the offence detected in the Glenarm Avenue area of the town on February 2 this year.
He appeared at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday, February 27 and pleaded guilty to the offence.
A prosecutor said Wilton had an alcohol/breath reading of 54. The legal limit is 35.
