HERE’S a date for your diary - Saturday, September 1.

It’s show time in Garvagh, as the annual Garvagh Clydesdale and Vintage Vehicle Club will once again hold their annual rally.

The show field is located on the Coleraine Road, and this year it promises to have something for everyone.

Events include the ever-popular pet show, Mandy’s line dancers will be on hand to perform and Dasha Zichova will showcase her performing pony.

Dasha has revealed to show organisers that she has trained a full size horse for this year’s event.

At 11am, a tractor building demonstration will take place.

Around the show there will be other attractions including a chainsaw artist, a bouncy castle for the kids, face painting and a magician.

At the rear of the field the Clydesdales will be in competition in their various classes.

The Judge this year is from Scotland and is an expert when it comes to these majestic creatures, so, the entrants will need to be at the top of their game!

The Grand Parade will be led by the Clydesdales and their prizes at around 3.00 pm.

On their return to the field the vehicles, cars, motorcycles, tractors and commercials will also parade the town.

Organisers would like to thank their new sponsor River Ridge Recycling and Coleraine Borough Council for financial assistance.
