LIDL’S new Portrush store will open this Thursday at 8am - with the creation of ten jobs.
Located at 55 Glenmanus Road, the store will serve Portrush and surrounding areas with top quality food and fantastic non-food specials, all at amazingly low prices.
The new store represents a new look and ultra modern design, which aims to further enhance the shopping experience for the customer. It also boasts an innovative new baking facility that will be turning out delicious affordable artisan breads from the minute the store opens until it closes at night time.
There will be over 10 staff from the locality employed at the store.
Stuart Jackson, Portrush Store Manager said: “Lidl is delighted to be eventually opening in Portrush and I look forward to welcoming the community to our store and being part of the area.
“We have so many exciting activities planned for the opening and lots of prizes to be won over the opening weekend. There really is something for everyone and it promises to be a great local event for families and anyone else who wants to come along and join the fun!”
The Portrush store will be serviced by Lidl’s purpose built 29,000 metres squared Regional Distribution Centre in Nutts Corner, Co. Antrim.
Over 600 people are employed by Lidl in Northern Ireland. Opening times of the Portrush store are Monday to Saturday: 8am to 9pm; and Sunday 1pm to 6pm.
