'˜Reckless' attempts to destroy road signs and gritting box

The community is urged to be vigilant after reports of anti-social behaviour in the Greengage area of Ballymoney.

The appeal comes from DUP Councillor Alan McLean who claims the actions of some young people are causing unwanted disruption.

Mr McLean, who has brought the issue to the attention of the PSNI and Causeway Coast and Glens Policing and Community Safety Partnership, said: “In recent weeks, youths emerging from the Riverside Park have attacked signs on the roundabout and attempted to destroy the local saltbox. This is incredibly reckless and counterproductive.

“I’m urging local residents to remain vigilant and report any wrongdoing they witness to the authorities.”
