Following their award of Best Project from Northern Ireland at the 2017 BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition, Loreto College Coleraine Year 12 students Sian Donaghy and Donal Close were selected to take part in the BT Young Scientist Business Bootcamp, held at University College Dublin recently.

Only 30 students from throughout Ireland were invited to take part, out of 550 individual and group projects in the Exhibition.

Sian and Donal were the only northerners invited to the Bootcamp. They had a great few days at the event, learning lots of business skills.

Michael James, Principal of Loreto College, congratulated the students on their selection for this prestigious event, along with their mentoring teachers Mrs Maeve Close and Mrs Katrina Brolly, and wished them well for the continuing display of their award-winning project.
