Significant delay in case of Portrush man facing drugs charg

A lawyer for a Portrush man facing drugs charges said there has been a 'significant' delay in the case.

Ian David Coulter (25), of Corbally Road, is alleged to have possessed cannabis with intent to supply on October 14, 2015.

On the same date he is accused of possessing the Class B drug.

He is also charged with being concerned in the supply of cannabis on dates between October 3 and October 14, 2015.

He was in the dock at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Friday where a prosecutor said a report from the “cyber crime unit” is expected soon.

The case has been adjourned until July.
