SULLIVAN & Gold are starting to attract music industry attention, and tickets are starting to go fast for their Flowerfield Arts Centre appearance with special guest Hannah McPhillimy this Friday.
Sullivan & Gold made a huge impression at Flowerfield in December, when they played a short set during a music industry seminar.
The arts centre is delighted to be welcoming them back, in the company of acclaimed singer songwriter Hannah McPhillimy, who also delivered one of the centre’s most memorable (and sold out) performances of 2013.
The music made by Sullivan and Gold is described by their label Smalltown America as ‘heartstrong, acoustic-based, for fans of Bombay Bicycle Club, Iron & Wine and Fleet Foxes’.
Sullivan & Gold is the pen name of Adam Montgomery (Bass/Guitar/Vocals) and Ben Robinson (Piano, Guitar and Vocals).
Their sound is an evocative mix of Laurel Canyon soul and British alt-indie – an album packed with bold, atmospheric and emotive songs. The lush and sumptuous arrangements on the record are a result of the collaboration with Conor Mason (Little Bear).
Tickets are priced at £10, which includes complimentary interval refreshments, and they’re available from reception at Flowerfield Arts Centre. You can also use your debit or credit card to buy tickets over the phone on (028) 7083 1400.
