The event has been organised by local businessman, Trevor Culbertson and is becoming a much loved annual event. Trevor explained: “ I’m really looking forward to this year’s sponsored walk.
“It’s a chance for the whole community to come together, at the same time raising funds for a really worthy cause. The British Lung Foundation works so hard to improve the lives of those with respiratory conditions and fund research into cures for the future. It’s made such a difference to the lives of people all across Northern Ireland. I’m only too happy to lend our support in return to it’s local support group, Breathe Easy Causeway. Everyone is welcome to attend the sponsored walk. The more the merrier. Let’s hope the rain stays off!”
British Lung Foundation Development Officer, Nessie Blair, said: “I’m thrilled that Trevor is organising another sponsored walk for Breathe Easy Causeway. This is an event I look forward to every year and I’m so grateful to Trevor for all the time and effort he’s invested. hope the community turns out in force to take part and support such a worthy event.”
