PRINCIPAL of St Joseph’s College, Mr Ronnie Kelly has congratulated his pupils and staff following the publication of the GSCE results.

He said that the hard work of both the staff and students continued to develop St Joseph’s College as a “beacon of success”.

The Coleraine School was named as the third ranking Secondary School in the Province last year, and last week Mr Kelly was delighted to announce the continued rise in academic achievements.

“After the publication of the GCSE results 98% of the College’s pupils achieved five or more A* to C grades.

“Individual achievements such as Adeolowa Owolabi with six grade As and six grade Bs and Jill McAllister with six grade As, three grade Bs and two grade Cs are indicative of the College’s outstanding success due to the commitment and dedication of the pupils,” said Mr Kelly.
