Theatre in Funny Places performances this Saturday in Portstewart!*HEADLINE TO G0 HERE

COLERAINE Times readers are being invited to a special performance in Portstewart this Saturday, July 28.

As part of the Red Sails Festival, Big Tell will be performing ‘Theatre in Funny Places’ between 2pm and 6pm. The performances are the culmination of the company’s week-long intergenerational theatre project led by professional directors working with adults, teenagers and primary school children.

There is no entry fee to watch any of the performances and we extend a warm welcome to everyone.

Audiences will also have the opportunity to win a pair of tickets to see Big Telly’s autumn production The Scarlet Web in one of the Northern Ireland tour venues by entering a free prize draw on the day.

Every Saturday in August Big Telly will be running drama workshops for children aged 6-11years at ‘The Box’ (the former bank beside Roughan’s). The workshops will focus on creative play, story-telling, physical theatre and improvisation culminating in a short installation of their work in The Box at the end of the workshop.

Booking can be made in advance or on the day and places are strictly limited to 15 children per session.

Please contact Collette at Big Telly for further information on 028 7083 1782.
