The favourite nightclub of tragic Alan Drennan paid a musical tribute to the 21-year-old apprentice mechanic at the weekend.
Standerwick - one of the DJs performing at Lush last Saturday - played a special remix of the Newtownabbey man’s favourite song - Satellite by Above and Beyond.
The Bristol-born DJ did an edit of the tune which is to be played to the crowds as a tribute to Mr Drennan.
A large image of Mr Drennan was also beamed to clubbers.
Mr Drennan died last Sunday just hours after arriving on the sunshine isle of Ibiza.
Earlier last week Mr Drennan gathered for a memorial on a beach in Ibiza with a banner reading ‘#you’re half a world away’ - lyrics from the Above and Beyond track.
Mr Drennan was one of an 11-strong group who travelled to Ibiza but he had been on the island less than 24 hours when he was found dead in his hotel room by a cleaner.
After news of his tragic death broke, his brother Lee posted an emotional message on Facebook.
He wrote: “After 21 years of listening to his voice every day and always having him to go to if I ever needed anything or vice versa, to be told I’ll never have that again is the hardest thing I’ve ever been through.”
