WATCH: Coleraine remembers the Somme

A parade left Carthall last night to mark the start of events for this weekend’s Road to the Somme commemoration.

Representing the local men marching off to War, crowds gathered in the town to see the historical parade.

The commemoration events continue Friday and Saturday.

10.45: Anderson Park- dedication of Memorial

12noon: Exhibition opens in Coleraine Town Hall

2.30pm: Walking in the Shadows of the Somme - historical walk leaving Killowen Orange Hall.

10.30pm: Legion parade and vigil
