Local race fans and movie fans alike are eagerly anticipating the general release of ‘Road’ - the film about the Dunlop family and their relationship with motorcycles and road racing.
‘Road’ is a documentary film that tells the extraordinary story of two sets of roadracing Dunlop brothers - Joey and Robert and Michael and William.
Produced by DoubleBand Films, it is a dramatic recounting of two generations of a family united by loss and success, and is narrated by Ballymena-born Liam Neeson.
The homage to roadracing and its quiet local heroes, Joey and Robert Dunlop, and Robert’s sons William and Michael, features stunning action and candid race-day scenes.
Now the film is going on general release and will be showing at the Moviehouse at Coleraine’s Jet Centre from tomorrow (Wednesday) June 11th and then again from Friday, June 13th.
Details of showings can be found at www.moviehouse.co.uk/whats-on/road/tt3546370
