Kylemore Nursery School in Coleraine took action to improve the school grounds by taking part in TIDY Northern Ireland’s BIG Spring Clean initiative.

Children, parents and staff wanted to do something positive as part of their Eco-Schools Work, so they decided to tidy the nursery grounds by litter picking, planting flowers and vegetables, adding bird feeders and cleaning Nursery equipment.

Eco-Schools Coordinator, Stephanie Balmer, said: “The day was a great success and the nursery has never looked so good!”

Kylemore wish to say a big thank you to all the parents, children and staff who gave up their time to help spring clean the outdoor area.

The results are fabulous and will be of great benefit to our local wildlife and eco-systems for many years.
