Exploratory work by NI Water at Christie Park

A number of readers contacted us, and in a statement Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council confirmed that the work was being carried out by NI Water.

“The works currently on going within Christie Park are being carried out by NI Water,” said the statement.

“The works consisting of boreholes and trial pits are to determine the true ground make-up to facilitate future works that maybe undertaken to improve the sewage network within this area, and that leading into sewage pumping station at Waterside Car Park. Reinstatement of areas affected by the investigatory works will be made good by NI Water. Council is not involved with regard to this work.”
