LIBRARIES NI is offering an exciting training programme for people who want to find out more about technology and computers in Coleraine Library.

These free Got IT? and Go ON courses demonstrate how using technology can enhance your life and Coleraine Library will be holding Go ON courses during February and March.

Got IT? is a computer help programme to support people with little or no knowledge of computers, while Go ON takes these skills one step further.

Go ON allows people to enhance their computer skills by offering help to do lots of everyday tasks on the computer, such as paying bills, health enquiries and keeping in touch with friends.

Coleraine Library is offering these Go ON courses on the following dates:

* Organise your life online: Tuesday, February 12, 11:00am to 1:00pm. To book call: 028 7034 2561.

* Your health online (part 1): Tuesday, March 19, 10:30am to 12:00 noon. To book call: 028 7034 2561.

* Your health online (part 2): Tuesday, March 26, 10:30am to 12:00 noon, Kim Aiken, Learning Development Manager, Libraries NI, explains: “We would like to encourage people to call into any of the 32 libraries across Northern Ireland holding a total of 45 Go ON courses from January to March and sign up to Go ON with improving their computer proficiency.

“As a library member, you can then use computers with free internet access to practice your new skills in the relaxed environment of your local library.”
