It's chocolate heaven for wedding couples

A new partnership with one of Northern Ireland's leading chocolatiers will offer local couples the chance to support the vital work of the Foyle Hospice, whilst treating their guests on the most important of days.

Coleraine-based The Chocolate Manor, which provides handcrafted bespoke chocolates across NI and the UK, has selected Foyle Hospice as its nominated Charity of the Year, and will be supporting the local charity by providing a sweet new way to donate.

Many couples choose to contribute to Foyle Hospice as an alternative to traditional wedding favours.

The new chocolate options will give the happy couple the chance to thank their guests with delicious handmade chocolate, whilst making a real difference to the Foyle Hospice’s patients and their families.

Geri Martin, owner of Chocolate Manor, said: ““I am thrilled to have the chance to work with Foyle Hospice to support the services they deliver by raising much needed funds.

“It is very exciting to be able to add a new element to their wedding favour options, and I very much look forward to handcrafting chocolates for the couples who choose to support the charity, and thank their wedding guests, in this way.”

Ciaran McGinley, Head of Fundraising said: ‘We are thrilled to have been chosen as Chocolate Manor’s Charity of the Year.

“Our partnership with Chocolate Manor will allow couples to have their own specially designed chocolate treats for their guests.

“Giving in celebration through your special day is a unique way of helping Foyle Hospice to provide specialist palliative care for patients with cancer & other life limiting illnesses across the North West and support for their families and loved ones.”

The new partnership will also see the handmade chocolate business, which recently supplied chocolates for events hosted by HRH The Duke of York, provide support for other Foyle Hospice fundraising initiatives over the coming year.

“I am thrilled to be able to use my skills to support those who work so hard for the patients and families who avail of the Foyle Hospice programmes and palliative care,” said Geri.
