The 33rd Portrush RNLI Charity Raft Race in 2014 will once again be sponsored by Morelli’s Ice Cream.

Shelley Pinkerton, Chair of Raft Race said: “We are thrilled that Morelli’s are once again our main sponsor for this event. Naldo and Daniela have worked with us over the past year to take forward our programme for May 24-25 and we are looking forward to introducing new events to add to the excitement of the weekend.”

Naldo Morelli said Morelli’s was excited about their involvement: “We hope to continue to promote the carnival atmosphere of the event whilst highlighting the hard work and dedication of the RNLI and the volunteer crews who do such an important job. We encourage everyone to get involved in this year’s events and support the RNLI.”

Coleraine Borough Council is also supporting and sponsoring the Raft Race.

Many Portrush residents have grown up with the Raft Race and Council is delighted to continue its involvement with the event which is growing in strength and in size.

The Morellis Portrush Raft Race is great fun and appeals to families and groups of all ages.
