The Post Office is proposing to move Culcrow Post Office from its current location at 190 Curragh Road, to new premises at 50 Glenkeen Road, Aghadowey, which will become a convenience store.
The present premises are to be withdrawn from Post Office use and if the move goes ahead opening hours would be unchanged and the new branch will still offer the same wide range of products and services.
Customers and interested parties are asked to give their comments on the move in a six week public consultation.
Post Office Field Change Advisor, Mandy Donaldson, said: “We understand how important having a Post Office is to residents in the area.
“And we are confident that this new location will meet the needs of customers and also secure services for the future.”
During the public consultation, which closes on February 14, the Post Office welcomes feedback on any issues customers would like considered before a final decision is taken on this proposal.
Submissions can be made until February 14 via email to firstname.lastname@example.org and the Customer Helpline: 08457 22 33 44 or Textphone 08457 22 33 55.
