JONATHAN Mitchell and Peri-Jake Stynes ,Year 14 pupils at Coleraine Inst, have been selected for the Irish rowing squad to compete at this year's Coupe de la Jeunesse in France.
Also know as the Junior European Rowing Championships, the Coupe de la Jeunesse is an international regatta rowed over 2,000m. It was founded in 1985 and is open to rowers who are 18 or under by the end of the current calendar year. It is a two-day team event, with points awarded to nations based on finishing position in each category.

Jonathan hopes to build on the success he had at the event last year when he picked up two silver medals. Peri-Jake will be coxing and hopes to emulate the success he has had coxing CAI crews over the years.
