IT'S not often that Harry Gregg is left speechless - and star struck!
But the former Manchester United goalkeeper admitted to being "like a kid in a sweet shop" when he was invited by the All Star Signings company to take part in a two-day Legends showcase and memorabilia event in the NEC Birmingham recently.

Big Harry got to rub shoulders with the likes of boxing luminaries such as James Buster Douglas - the man who first floored Mike Tyson - Tommy Morrison, Tony Tucker, Lloyd Honeygan, Alan Minter and also Brazilian football greats, Jairzinho, Carlos Alberto and Rivellino.

Harry was also in the company of ex-Busby Babes team-mates Albert Scanlon, Kenny Morgans and Denis Law.

"It was fantastic," Harry told Times Sport. "I was like a kid in a sweet shop. I have a signed photo of Buster Douglas knocking down Tyson and it says "From one champ to another."

"I was there to sign autographs but I felt like asking for autographs myself! They flew over the captain of the great Brazilian team of 1970, Carlos Alberto from New York and there were other Brazilian players there like Rivellino and Jairzinho. It was also great to meet Alan Minter, a really lovely fella."

During the two days Harry and the other sporting stars signed autographs, photos and memorabilia.

Harry said: "I've been at similar events in the past but none as well organised as this. The queues in the place were huge."

Also taking part in the major signing event were former footballing greats such as Ian Rush, Johnny Giles, Norman Hunter and Peter Lorimer.
