There will be no real motivation needed when Coleraine travel to Crusaders tonight (Tuesday) for what is set to be an exciting League Cup encounter.

The Crues 6-2 win over the Bannsiders at the start of September will still be fresh in the players’ minds.

Oran Kearney says his players will be determined to put the record straight, but he is also hoping the Crues players will have a bit of complacency in their game.

“We were obviously disappointed with the Crues result, but it was one of those nights were Crusaders were very good and everything they hit went in,” said Kearney.

“It’s good motivation for us though. We will be determined to put the record straight.

“We can’t afford to go into the match with that game playing on our minds though.

“Hopefully though it will be on the minds of the Crues players and they will be complacent about it.

“We just have to focus on our own game though and make sure we do our jobs.

“We want to get a good run in the cup competitions and it would be great to get to another final again.

“To do that though you have to beat the best teams along the way.”

Meanwhile the winning numbers in the Coleraine FC Lottery were: 3, 8, 14 and 21. There were no winners.
