Beverland says everyone will be raring to go again

The captain is getting back to his best after a difficult season for everyone, but added the experience will stand everyone in good stead.

“It has been a difficult season and a new experience for a lot of us,” said Beverland.

“We are all very disappointed at how it panned out.

“We are all winners and we set our standards high and this year it has fallen below what we had hoped for.

“But I can assure you that come next season we will be up for it and raring to go again.

“We have to draw a line under it now and take whatever positives we can out of it.

“It has been a hard season physically and mentally. We came in for a bit of criticism, some of it was justified and some of it wasn’t.

“But we’re players, we’re in the firing line and we’ll take it.
