Coleraine Ladies in pre season training
COLERAINE Ladies FC have started pre season training.
Player/manager Alison Nicholl is on the look out for new players in preparation for the start of the new league in April.
The girls had a disappointing season last year, but Alison, a former Northern Ireland international herself, is hoping for better this time around.
“We are a very young side, so we lack a bit of experience.
“Ladies football at Coleraine is still developing. We had an under 13 league taking part in the Dale Farm League last year and we have a good under 11 group - so there is a good structure coming through under the coaching of Stephen McConaghie.
The Ladies team train on the back pitch at the Showgrounds on a Monday night from 7 to 8.30, any new playes will be made very welcome.
“We have a few new players already - Caitlin Doherty and Chloe McVey who are both good prospects, but a few more will help boost the squad,” said Alison.
