The annual fundraiser for the club was a big hit yet again.

The ‘Home’ team proved victorious running out 5-3 winners in the end.

Marshalled by first team boss Oran Kearney the Stripes battled back from 2-1 down at the start of the second half to seal the win.

They were helped in no small part thanks to two spectacular strikes by the impressive Johnny McIlreavy.

The pace slowed as the game went on but there was some quality football played by both sides on the day.

Although there is sure to be quite a few aching limbs for the rest of the week.

A big thanks goes to Vernon Crawford and his helpers who once again organised a terrific day’s craic.

The rganisers would like to thank everyone who took part on the day, the club for the use of the facilities, and everyone who turned up to watch.
