The Harry Gregg Foundation’s inaugural “Festival of Football” in partnership with the Ulster University, has proved to be a huge success.
The event which saw upwards on fifty Irish League Academy teams descend on the Coleraine campus over a two day period has attracted praise from special guests, attending teams and the large numbers of spectators which accompanied them to spectate during the festival.
TV presenter and Foundation Ambassador Stephen Watson said he was delighted to have been able to support the event.
Additional guests including representatives from the Ulster University, Causeway Coast and Glens Council and Coleraine Football Club listened attentively as Harry’s Foundation trustees explained the ethos of the event itself, outline future plans and encouraged collaborative working moving forward.
So the Festival was a fantastic success both off and on the pitch.
