Striker Darren Henderson has been placed on the transfer list at Ballymena United.
The former Glentoran and Coleraine frontman has been made available to other clubs “at his own request”, United manager Glenn Ferguson has said.
The Bushmills-based player signed for Ballymena in the January transfer window two years ago and had been a regular starter during the first 18 months of his time at the club.
However, the emergence of homegrown teenager Matthew Shevlin, along with Ferguson’s decision to utilise Allan Jenkins in the centre forward position, has pushed Henderson down the pecking order.
He has made just four starts this season, with a further 15 appearances as a substitute, scoring two goals, the most recent coming in United’s Toals County Antrim Shield semi-final win over Larne.
Henderson’s most recent appearance came as an injury time substitute as United beat Linfield in the final of the same competition earlier this month.
His Ballymena contract is due to expire at the end of his season.
