There are only a few days left to nominate a Coleraine grassroots football hero in the McDonald’s Irish FA Community Awards 2013, so make sure you’ve nominated that deserving person at www.irishfa.com/communityawards before the deadline passes on Friday 23rd August.
Nominations will close at midnight on Friday so if you know a coach, club or volunteer that deserves recognition for their contribution to the beautiful game at grassroots level and to the local community please fill in the online nomination form today.
Goalkeeping legend Pat Jennings, McDonald’s Head of Northern Ireland football, said: “I’d encourage everyone involved with local football to take a moment of their time and nominate a grassroots hero before the deadline closes. These clubs, coaches and volunteers give up their time to help young footballers shine and they deserve to be rewarded for their efforts.”
“The McDonald’s Irish FA Community Awards 2012 was a great experience and it was an inspiration to meet the local coaches, clubs and volunteers who do so much for the game at grassroots level. I’m looking forward to meeting our new grassroots heroes at the 2013 awards in September at the Millennium Forum.” Nominations can be made at www.irishfa.com.
