Mexico are chasing a hat-trick of successes since 2012 after seeing off Northern Ireland in last year’s decider and Denmark the year before. Their victory over the Irish last time took the Central Americans level with their hosts in terms of titles secured at this level with their first crown picked up against Scotland in 2001.

China and Canada complete the four-team section which has maintained a high quality down the years since it was first introduced back in 1995.
