Coleraine FC Ladies gathered to celebrate a very successful season for the Bannsiders as they look back upon winning the NIWFA Division One North League Cup and start planning for a bright future for ladies football in Coleraine.

Ladies manager Alison Nicholl reflected on a roller coaster season which ended in triumph when the ladies picked up the League Cup on that September night in Ballyclare.

The ladies had a strong start to the league campaign as they introduced some of the younger players to the squad, highlighting Coleraine Ladies successful youth academy which continues to develop players into playing at a senior level.

The Ladies maintained a solid start in the league with impressive wins both at home and away and led the league for several weeks.

However it was the two cup competitions in which the ladies were most successful as they reached the Irish Cup semi-final in which they faced strong Premiership opposition in Crusaders Strikers.

The Ladies picked up their first piece of silverware in recent years with an impressive victory over Carnmoney Ladies in the League Cup Final.

Alison also paid tribute to support of the board of directors at Coleraine Football Club for their continued support of Girls and Ladies Football within the club as well as their various match sponsors as well as coaches Kyle McVey and Ciaran Duffy for all of the help and support they have given to the squad.
