Under 16s unlucky against Institute in derby

Coleraine Academy U16s hosted neighbours Institute in what proved to be a very close encounter.

Golden-boy Jason Goldie picked up where he left off last week putting Coleraine in front.

Institute slowly started to find their way back into the game. The visitors levelled through a penalty just before the break. Five minutes into the second half Stute finally took the lead with a well worked goal. Rhys Blair was unlucky from the spot as the Stute keeper denied the young forward.

The visitors grabbed another goal but Aaron Doherty grabbed a second for Coleraine after some good play by Tyler Golliger.

Coleraine continued to mount pressure onto their opponents, however Stute were able to hold onto their lead and take away all three points.
