FOOTBALL: Morrow moves to Tranmere

COLERAINE striker Sammy Morrow hsa completed his moved to Tranmere Rovers.

The Limavady man who made only six appearances for Coleraine signed after a medical at Prenton Park.

He caught the eye of Tranmere manager Les Parry during a pre-season tournament in Scotland.

Morrow's departure for Birkenhead is a blow to Coleraine boss David Platt who had already lost his top scorer from last season, Rory Patterson.

"I am frustrated with the timing of the move more than anything," Platt told the Coleraine website.

"It has already disrupted our plans for the season and now, with so little time before the transfer window closes, we only have a few days to bring someone else in."
