FOOTBALL: Platt challenges his players

Coleraine boss David Platt has challenged his players to start putting in the performances they are capable of.

"It wouldn't matter who we are playing at the minute whether it be Chimney Corner or Linfield, we're looking for better performances all round from every single person," said Platt.

"It's okay getting on the ball and passing it and looking to play fancy football, it's when we don't have the ball that we are getting hurt at the minute with people not doing their jobs.

"Obviously the players are frustrated and as a manager I have to try and lift them, but as the saying goes you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink.

"We haven't got all the answers, nobody has, but it won't be for the want of trying," added Platt.
