COLERAINE have pulled off a major transfer coup by landing former Limavady skipper David Cooke.
Cooke’s availability had alerted several clubs but he settled on joining his former team-mate Ian McGregor at Sandel Lodge.
A spokesperson for the club said: “He’s a wicket keeper batsman. He will add more experience to our team, especially strengthening the middle order and by keeping wicket will allow Mohammad Salman to have the opportunity to bowl a few more overs.
“Plus he’ll be great at mentoring and coaching our development players in senior cricket.”
