Dengie Qualifiers at RDA Coleraine

Despite the cold winter evenings setting in riders continue to travel to RDA Coleraine training shows on a Thursday evening.

With the warm indoor facilities these shows provide the perfect environment for rider to school all ages of horses/ponies around a course of fences to prepare them for a career in show jumping. It also allows novice riders to develop in confidence and ability in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

On Thursday 14 November and Thursday 21st November there was the added incentive of Pony Club Dengie qualifiers being incorporated into the schedule. The PC Dengie qualifiers ran within the 70cm and 90cm classes and was open to all pony club and non members under the age of 25, the first four competitors in each class qualified for the final at Portmore on 1st March 2014.

Training Shows for Horses and Ponies will continue on a Thursday night during the winter months starting at 7pm with classes from 60cm – 120cm.

RDA Coleraine is currently running a winter SJI horse league. Start time is 2.30pm sharp and classes range from 90cm – 120s. Remaining dates are Sunday 24th and 1st December.

On Saturday 14th December, RDA Coleraine will be holding a Craft and fun Fair at the Causeway Coast Area.
