Killymoon’s Campbell wins Castlerock Seniors

J Campbell travelled to Castlerock recently and left with first prize in the Rock’s Seniors Open.

He scored 34 points off his sixteen handicap to finish two in front of Jim O’Rorke on 32. Derek Irwin took third spot on 31. The bets visitor score came from N McGurk, a Moyola Park member.


Eight handicap Simon Cameron returned 37 points on Saturday to win the Club Stableford with 37 points, one in front of Brian Kerr. In the Low Section Brian Lowry took the top slot with 36 points off three while Gordon Stewart won the High Section with 36 points from his mark of nineteen. Seamus Clyde took another Senior section with 35 from his handicap of 22 and William Hewitson scored 36 gross points to get his prize.
